Spa Game Where You Can Do Waxing

2 of 3 - Further MEETING March 8, 2011 - GOOD SHEPHERD - SHEEP DOOR

The men who lead lives of believers can see, from time to time, the truths that they had not seen before, or on which their attention has never been laid. And now they stand before them as a call inalienable. Now, this is the truth that we must undertake, taking the value of precepts, and call for obedience. In this way, or in others, Christ calls us hours . There is nothing miraculous or extraordinary about this way of doing. He works through our natural faculties and through the very circumstances of life.

Cardinal John Henry Newman

I meditated on the Gospel of John 10.1 to 10. My attention was focused on these verses:
"Verily, verily, I say: I am the door of the sheep. All those who came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: if a enters through me will be saved, and come out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly " .
For the first time I asked about some verbs of motion in this song. " Whoever enters through me will be saved, and come out and find pasture ". You first need to "enter" and not only that, but "through" Jesus because He alone is "Door". Any other step in our life will be a way inaccessible, a way which will not lead to the goal. He is "the Way, Truth and Life," only he can be the move. But to get where?
Here's to my mind is back the Gospel of the "rich young man", where Jesus speaks of "life" (Mt 19:16-17) , as in other tracks, without adding the word "eternal" like to emphasize that the united real life is that which opens the prospect of eternity. For the fullness of life can only go through Jesus, His Way, or in living the Gospel literally, one step in the intimate relationship with Him and to be fully realized life. Only if we live with Him, in Him and for Him then our life will be in joy . We are all seeking happiness, for many side streets, always end up with a existential void the result of roads that can not give us what we seek. The life lived responsibly by putting God first and giving to our existence and the size of the eternal soul and brings us one day we can turn back no regrets and live for the moment as this was the first, the only, the last one. It is not disembodied experience, which finds refuge in the spiritual, but spiritual solutions to our sense of being here and now with a project of love thought from all eternity for all of us. There is life if not in God does not exist if not eternal life. Everything passes, only in Jesus and His love can we find the fullness and happiness .
Once through He adds here that three other verbs: "will be saved, and come out and find pasture." Save from what? Surely its from the streets that go beyond God, and that can only lead to nonsense, dissatisfaction, emptiness, annihilation, to nothing, to fill this with substitutes that can lead only to death, despair, wanting to take over. Jesus is the door through which to pass from death to life, not the way to fullness, from disunity to communion, from indifference to love free from selfishness to self-giving, from hell to heaven already on this land, ' Hell to Eternity with Him, from sadness to joy full!
"go in and out" indicates the need not only to go to "find pasture", but also the need, once in contact with Him who is our paradise, for out to "push to enter" (Lc14, 23 ) all those who are still misled and did not know the Love of God How important is that the verb "go"! We can not expect to get in God and keep him to ourselves, as if it came in a free zone thought to be able to stay calm and not worry about those who continue to risk of dying out. The experience of love and fullness leads us necessarily to continue ferrying in and out as many as possible to him is the mystery of the descent to hell! Passed from death to life we \u200b\u200bare called to come out of Paradise every day to try those in despair and in no way to lead them by the hand through the only door that can save them. It 's true that he is the only "Master and Lord" (Gv13, 13) , the Good Shepherd. But it is equally true that we then we are all called to be "helpers of their joy," being shepherds of the Good Shepherd and guide others like us who were leading them to the long-awaited and sought by all, even unknowingly.
So remember all that Jesus Christ alone is "the Door of the sheep and lambs that we too are called to be shepherds in imitation of the Good Shepherd who became a sheep with us and among us,
no longer call you servants, but friends (Gv15, 15) because the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd and guide them to springs of living water; (AP7, 17) .
