the early twentieth century James Alberione conceived and gave birth to the Pauline charism understood as a project of a "new evangelization" that asked, with equal dignity, "written next to the oral preaching preaching" . Chapter IX of the General Society of St. Paul intends to revive this charism to the top of the third millennium and in view of the centenary of the foundation.
With the founding of the Society of St. Paul and the whole Pauline Family Alberione has given the Church a "new vocation" of apostles who eat a "new spirituality" to create a "new mission" concerning the "new demands" of time. The Chapter IX, in response to the signs of the times emerging in today's world, trying to revive the initiative, creativity and holiness of Alberione to guide the congregation toward the actualization of all the elements that make up the charisma.
